Feature request: Extract Assets w/o being in a "shot"

    in PiStage

It would be nice to be able to to "Extract Assets" without being in a shot. The idea would be that the extracted assets would go into the Project level.

My use case for this would be when converting an environment asset that is made up of many smaller assets. It would be nice to open a blank scene, import the original Maya asset, break it up into many Static_Meshes, and extract them to the Project.

A similar feature request would be the ability to easily migrate Assets from the shot level to the sequence or project level.

    Hi Johnson,

This is Spock from PiSquare. Thanks for taking the time to use PiSage and giving feedback.

A better way to "Extract Asset", as you described, is on our to-do list.

We haven't had a way to migrate assets (another good feature) yet, however you may do it manually.

Use "Show in Explorer" to find the asset file then copy/move them to the to the sequence or project level. We'll add this to the future version.

    Thanks again!
