hi Spock, we tested this today. We were able to view in VR, however, some things behaved strangely. Primarily, it seemed as if the world was parented to the VR headset. The world rotated as you rotated your head. Our setup steps were simple:
1) Loaded the Cicada
2) In the PiStage menu, we clicked Open UE.
3) In Unreal Project Settings, set "Start in VR" to on. Tested by playing in editor.
4) In Maya, launched PiView. Initially, PiView showed the Maya camera, as usual.
5) Then we sent the Console Command, "Stereo On".
At that point, we were able to view the level through the headset, however, the world was parented to the headset. Do we need to set up a new game mode or pawn in Unreal? If you're not able to share these steps on the forum, feel free to email me. This workflow could be very useful for us!
